Description of Services


Basic Service Plans
:

Home Inspection: Depending on the service level chosen, we will do either a weekly or bi-weekly walk-through inspection of your home each month. Each walk-through will include a visual inspection of the entire house and outbuildings, both inside and out, where access is possible. We will check to ensure:

Charges for the basic plans are levied only for periods of non-residency when inspections are done.
During residency there are no inspections nor monthly charges.

If requested by the homeowner, we will act as the Responsible Person and respond to calls from the security company and/or local law enforcement or first responders when an alarm is activated and a representative of the homeowner is required to be present at the home. We will also respond to unusual incidents, at our discretion, when we feel that an additional inspection is called for subsequent to severe weather, electric/gas outage or some other event that has the potential to cause damage.

In the event that we discover a problem during an inspection, we will, at the prior direction of the homeowner, either inform the owner of the problem and await instructions or contact the appropriate local business/services in the Crested Butte area to correct the situation or take corrective action ourselves. A pre-set spending limit will be designated for repairs for which homeowner notification is not required.

Pre-arrival reservations for dinner or transportation: We will be happy to make dinner reservations for your first evening in Crested Butte and/or arrange for Alpine Express, or other public transportation, to pick you up at the airport on the day of your arrival as a part of your inspection package.

 

Enhanced Service Plans:

Home Inspection and Bill Management: This upgrade would provide for the same level of home inspection but would add the additional service of paying recurring monthly bills for the home. This service would also include paying other periodic bills such as housekeeping, firewood or seasonal maintenance for which plans or arrangements are already in place.

 

Other Service Options:

Snow Removal: If there is currently no contractor in place for snow removal, we will make arrangements with a snow removal contractor to perform this service. A property inspection is necessary to determine the cost of snow removal.

General Building Maintenance: May be provided by our personnel or contracted with a local business, depending upon the nature of the work. This would include items such as touch up painting, tile and grout repair, small carpentry jobs etc.

Plumbing/Electrical Maintenance, Lawn/Lot Maintenance, Roof Snow and Ice Removal, Housekeeping, Hot Tub Repairs/Service, Firewood, etc: Local insured and properly licensed businesses will be retained for these services as needed or directed by owners.

Grocery, Kitchen, Bar or Cleaning Supplies Stocking: This service will be provided by our personnel and requires adequate notification in order to plan the pickup of goods prior to your arrival. You may specify your choice of groceries from City Market, Clark’s or organic items from Mountain Earth.

Receiving of Packages and Luggage: If you would like to ship packages and/or luggage prior to your arrival, we will make arrangements to have the items received from FedEx, UPS or the US Mail and delivered to your home.

However, when contacting our office with requests or instructions, we would appreciate an e-mail so we may have a copy for our records. This will eliminate any confusion or misunderstanding on our part as to your instructions and preferences.
